Welcome welcome, make yourself comfortable, this could take a while. In a nut shell
you have found the web home of me, Tracy Shave. I would offer you a cup of tea but
not sure that would really work... Anyway, here is where you’ll find all things “Traciness”.
I guess you’d call me an “Eclectic Artisan” because I have lots of ideas and I use
the medium it takes to move those ideas into fruition. I have a variety of passions,
mostly making people smile and laugh, so I embarked on a journey into stand up comedy
in May 2012, just for fun, too! You’ll see where my other passions lie here in the
following pages but there is still so much to be discovered, and I share some of
my process in my online videos and workshops. I’m kind like that! I hope you will
become inspired but don’t forget my work is mine and copying is not really any form
of flattery, plus you don’t need to! Play, smile, laugh and paint, paint, paint.
If you’re not creative - ask me and I’ll make it for you! :D
I was taught the basic principles of drawing by my Grandad, Albert Shave, when I
was very young. He was a fantastic artist and always pushed me to try harder. He
was a huge inspiration and encouragement, but passed away when I was just 18, and
for a while I gave up on my art. Now though, his legacy lives on.
I am very proud to have had my photographs win Awards in the Mencap SNAP photography
competition two years running and both years I entered!
I love making people laugh and also run workshops for the non-profit organisation
I formed in 2009. If you are looking for our Giggle Together workshops - combining
laughter, creativity and play - then you need to have a look at this www.giggletogether.co.uk
. Workshops from here are often merged into other workshops so just let me know what
you are after and I can tailor the workshops to your needs. :D
GO TO ART SHOW PAGE>>> to see where you can find my work and what I’ve done in the
past. I’m doing less of these at the moment as I am spending more time making videos
and working on other painting projects but currently at the BILLERICAY ART TRAIL
- July 10th - July 22nd 2013.
I started the Tiny Trail - art trail for kids - in 2011 in Chelmsford which is now
something I offer to other trails. Since then it’s travelled to other towns and had
a little trip to the Children’s Ward in Braintree too!
